1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Spendich at spendich.vercel.app(the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User,” “you”) and Spendich (“we,” “us,” “our”).

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the Service. Your continued use of Spendich after these Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of them in full.

2. Description of Service

Spendich is a free personal finance tracking tool designed to help you organize and monitor your spending. The Service includes, but is not limited to, the following capabilities:

• Manual transaction entry with category, payment method, and date assignment
• Natural language quick entryfor adding expenses in plain English (e.g., “coffee 250 via UPI”)
• Telegram bot integration for adding and querying transactions through Telegram
• SMS and CSV import for bulk importing bank statements and transaction messages
• Budget tracking with configurable monthly and yearly limits per category
• Spending analytics with interactive charts, breakdowns, and trend visualizations
• Automated insights including budget alerts, spending spike detection, streak tracking, and periodic digests

The Service is provided on an “as is” basis. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

3. User Accounts

To use Spendich, you must create an account using Google OAuth or email-based authentication. When creating an account, you agree to the following:

• You may only maintain one account per person. Do not create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits or enforcement actions.
• You must provide accurate and current information during registration and keep your profile information up to date.
• You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials, including your password and any linked OAuth sessions. Do not share your credentials with anyone.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, whether or not you authorized it.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, are used fraudulently, or are inactive for an extended period.

4. Acceptable Use

Spendich is intended solely for lawful personal finance tracking purposes. You agree to use the Service in compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations.

You agree not to:

• Abuse, overload, or interfere with the Service’s infrastructure, servers, or networks
• Attempt to access, view, or modify data belonging to other users
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or scrape the application or its underlying source code
• Upload malicious content, including viruses, malware, or intentionally corrupt data
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the Service, except through the official Spendich Telegram bot
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any individual or entity
• Use the Service for any commercial, competitive intelligence, or data harvesting purpose

Violation of this Acceptable Use policy may result in immediate account suspension or termination at our sole discretion.

5. Financial Disclaimer

Spendich is a tracking and organization tool only. It is not, and should not be construed as, any of the following:

• A financial advisor or financial planning service
• A bank, payment processor, or money transfer service
• An investment platform, brokerage, or wealth management tool
• A tax advisor, tax filing service, or accounting platform

We do not verify the accuracy, completeness, or validity of the transactions, amounts, or categories you enter into Spendich. All data in your account is self-reported and self-managed.

The insights, analytics, budget alerts, and spending summaries generated by the Service are informational only and should not be relied upon as professional financial advice. All financial decisions you make remain your sole responsibility. Spendich assumes no liability for actions taken or not taken based on information displayed in the Service.

6. Your Data

You retain full ownership of all data you enter into Spendich, including your transactions, categories, budgets, payment methods, and profile information. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.

By using the Service, you grant Spendich a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to process, store, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. This license terminates when you delete your account.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. Your financial data is never monetized.

7. Intellectual Property

The Spendich name, logo, visual design, user interface, and underlying source code are the intellectual property of Spendich and its creator. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved.

Your transaction data, custom categories, budget configurations, payment methods, and any other content you create within the Service remain entirely yours. These Terms do not transfer any ownership of your content to us.

You may not use the Spendich name, logo, or branding in any manner that suggests endorsement, affiliation, or sponsorship without prior written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. We expressly disclaim all warranties including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Spendich and its creator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Service, including but not limited to:

• Loss, corruption, or unintended deletion of your financial data
• Inaccurate calculations, analytics, insights, or budget tracking results
• Service interruptions, downtime, or performance degradation
• Actions taken or not taken based on information displayed in the Service
• Unauthorized access to your account resulting from compromised credentials

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability to you for any and all claims arising from or related to the Service is limited to the amount you have paid us for the Service, which is zero for free accounts.

9. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page within the application. Upon account deletion, all of your data — including transactions, budgets, categories, payment methods, insights, and profile information — will be permanently and irreversibly removed from our systems. We cannot recover deleted accounts or data.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account, with or without prior notice, if we reasonably believe that:

• You have violated any provision of these Terms
• Your account is being used for fraudulent or illegal activity
• Your use of the Service poses a security risk to other users or our infrastructure
• Continued provision of the Service to you is no longer commercially viable

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India. You irrevocably consent to the jurisdiction and venue of such courts and waive any objection based on inconvenient forum.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will revise the “Effective date” at the top of this page. We may also notify you of material changes through in-app notifications or the email address associated with your account.

Your continued use of Spendich after the revised Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you should discontinue use of the Service and delete your account.
